Tall, beautiful, and blessed with a voice that could melt ice, it's not hard to understand why this woman is everyone's favorite Indian superstar these days. And then there's the accent. The Delhi girl born and raised in London has done something special. Every movie she's featured in is a box-office success, and her upcoming releases look even more promising. Fans can now rejoice as the trailer for the highly anticipated Salaam Venky has been released. The film will hit theaters on August 3rd, 2018.

Jethwa Aamir Khan
The talented writer of Dangal and Bajirao Mastani is most famous for directing and acting in a story of romance and rebellion set in the Indian independence movement. He's followed this up with two more movies about Indian independence: Sanjay Gandhi and Virasami. Jethwa's latest film is also his directorial debut, Thanda Song. Set in Delhi, it tells the story of an elite Indian tennis team that travels the country competing in tournaments. Even those familiar with the sport might not know much about it. Jethwa is a true visionary in Indian cinema, and it's safe to say he's among the most respected and influential filmmakers in the country. A true genius, in other words.

Raised in London, the former Miss India World brings with her an elegance and poise that is impossible to hide. Even the most accomplished B-list actress couldn't hold a candle to this former beauty queen turned actress. And while she's mostly known for her modeling work and beauty queen titles, she's also had small roles in Bollywood features. One of these appearances was in Ayan Mukerji's 2016 film, Bajirao Mastani. Even if you haven't heard of her, you've most certainly seen her work. The elegant lady with the beautiful voice is quickly becoming a household name. After her performance in Mastani, audiences went crazy for her and began demanding her presence in future Bollywood features. This has certainly helped her cause. Revathy will next be seen in the upcoming Karan Johar directed movie, My Private Secretary.
Aamir Khan
The father of two is best known for his starring role as a restless lawyer in two of the most iconic Indian films of all time: Khoon Kaafir and Moghul Harems. He also produced and starred in the 1989 film, Secret Agent, which was a loose adaptation of William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. Since then, Aamir has mostly stayed away from the limelight until recently, mostly focusing on his family, philanthropic work, and his passion for football. His notable recent appearances include a cameo in the 2017 movie, Dangal, and its sequel. Aamir is also the founder of the popular NGO, Aamir Khan Entertainment Foundation, which supports disadvantaged children and their families in Nepal and other parts of the world. The talented, if slightly lazy, actor has a lot to give to the Indian film industry. Perhaps the biggest surprise of all is that he's decided to return to the spotlight and is quite actively participating in upcoming projects. We can't wait to see what he's got in store for us next.
Salma Khan
The former Miss World has starred in a handful of Bollywood films, although she's mostly known for her work in the UK. The glamorous actress has also modelled for various publications, including Vogue and Elle. The most memorable role might be her controversial appearance in the 2013 documentary, The Wright Story. The British-Pakistani actress spoke about her tumultuous marriage to Pakistani cricketer, Shahid Afridi. Salma told filmmaker, Rebecca Eaton, how she'd been pressured to marry Afridi, something she vehemently opposed. Although they married for only a few months before calling it quits, the story caused a global stir. The couple have since remarried and have four children together. Their blended family is proof that anything is possible in Hollywood, even for celebrities. We can't wait to see what else Shahid and Salma have in store for us.
Sara Khan
The British-Pakistani actress made her Bollywood debut in 2001 with a starring role in the crime thriller, Murder 2. The following year, she had a supporting role in the comedy, Friends and Neighbors with Ayan Mukerji. She then went on to appear in various supporting roles in Bollywood features, including the critically acclaimed 2006 movie, Bejoya, with Priyanka Chopra. Sara has also appeared in fashion magazines such as Vogue and Elle. She was named one of the World's 100 Most Powerful Women in Business by Forbes in 2014. Sharmila Tagore
The gorgeous Sharmila is another international superstar who chose to make the transition to Bollywood. The Trinidadian-born model and actress is best known for her role as Dr. Simonetta Vallois in the 2007 movie, No Reservations. Even if you haven't heard of Sharmila, you've most certainly seen her work. A former Miss World, she became the first runner-up at the pageant in 1989. That same year, she was also awarded the Best Actress title at the Toronto International Film Festival. The stunning 41-year-old actress has a full calendar of film and commercial projects lined up for the near future. She will next be seen in the 2018 horror movie, Shadowgraph, alongside Kane Williamson and Tim Curry.
Arpita Khan
The gorgeous and talented Arpita chose to make the move to Hollywood at a young age. The Bajirao Mastani star has appeared in various magazine spreads and catalogues, including Vogue, Elle, and Harper's Bazaar. The model-actress made her film debut in the 2007 Bollywood thriller, Gumrah. Since then, she's mostly appeared in fairly formulaic Bollywood features with some exceptions, such as the romantic comedy, Housefull, where she played twin sisters. In the 2019 comedy, Housefull 3, she appeared alongside her Housefull co-star, Akshay Kumar. Arpita is also the founder of the Arpita Films production company, which specializes in producing films for the international market. The company's first production, Dangal, was a big hit and earned Arpita many fans overseas. We can't wait to see what other projects this talented young filmmaker has in store for us.
Priyanka Chopra
The global superstar became a household name after portraying India's first female prime minister, Indira Gandhi, in the 2006 film, The Voting Booth. Since then, her filmography includes a 2019 movie with Salman Khan, Happy New Year, and a role as Emperor Jiajing in the upcoming Netflix historical drama, The Man in the High Castle.
